Online Expand Disks bigger than 2TB

Hi guys,

at the moment it´s not possible to resize a disk online when it´s bigger than 2 TB.

I already opened a case on that but i wanted to know if you would need this or not.

No, it isn't possible at the moment.

I know that it´s not possible in vSphere today but we would need this and HyperV Supports this so why it shouldn´t be adopted to vSphere.

We will have to wait until you get a response on your case, do let us know what was the cause for the limitation. Meanwhile I'll try to contact the right guys and try to get the information as well.

Response on that case is that Duncan Epping is informed but there is not much traction on this.

Therefore I try to get some traction here in the Community.
