OVF Export is not working

Hello All, When we try to export OVF getting the " The request failed because the remote server "xxxx" took long to respond" error. Please let me know if you have seen this error. vCenter version : 5.5 u2 Error stack Call "OvfManager.CreateDescriptor" for object "OvfManager" on vCenter Server "xxx" failed. -Suresh

Hey Suresh

Typically the first place to start investigating these types of issues (took to long to respond) is in DNS..

On the VC try doing nslookup tests for the source,, VC and Destination..

If that works do the same thing from your PC and from the esx host

When we use webclient it is working! -Suresh
