Nvidia Telsa K10

Hello,

does the tesla k10 work in esxi 6.7? like grid K2?

I haven't tried it, but I tested Quadro K4000 in 2012 (I think the K10 is equally old), it did work in passthrough mode. Haven't tested it lately and Nvidia may have enforced that the K10 of drivers will not work on VMware. Tesla M10 is however fully supported.

I guess you'll just have to try and see if it works.

the K10 is not listed in the nvidia-portal. and grid-software is only available fpr k1/k2 up to esxi 6.5

therefor please ask nvidia directly

Hi Lars,

I've found the solution. The K10 hase a special vBios and Driver settings. The exact same K2 works perfect.

The Fire Pro S10000 works perfect to and is very cheap.

Does the Tesla K10 need to have a special vBIOS flashed to work properly? Just making sure I understood your reply correctly...
