Nuevo HS22: Sin IBM Serial Atacched SCSI Disk

Jump to solution

Buenas tardes.

Good afternoon.
I am installing a new ESXi 5.1 server on a blade HS22 IBM S . I updated firmware versions prior to installation . I used the custom image downloaded from IBM. After installing and configuring the server, I can not see the shared storage with other servers . I have reviewed the configuration of Zoning and these new servers are included in the configuration ( it was already applied before installing servers ) .
I have reinstalled with other images, even with a 5.5 and is still experiencing the same.
What else I can check ? Is there a bug on this version? Should we change something in the BIOS or command level configuration of ESX ?

Have you mapped the volumes to the new blade with VMware ? Take a look at the following guide for additional about VMware host attachment (chapter 4): http://public.dhe.ibm.com/systems/support/system_x_pdf/00ak719.pdf
