I don't understand why, i have already set up port groups, VMkernel NICs

Every port group is EITHER for VMs OR the VMkernel, but not both.

So your other port groups (such as “VM Network - LAN VLAN 1920”) aren’t available for VMs because you have added a VMkernel port to all of them.

Hello, this happens only with this VM?

You could make sure that the port groups were created for use by the Virtual Machine Port Group for Standard Switch and not for use by the VMkernel adapter.

Can you create a new port group and check if it can be used correctly?

If you think I have solved your question, please mark it as a solution.

How can i check that? Don't know from where. I use ESXi web interface, i don't have vSphere client installed.

I tried to create a new port group :

Seems i can create it.

I tried to attach VM it then i got :

Now i cant see it anymore when i try to select it, i now only see "VM Network".

Turns out after i add VMKernel NIC i am getting this error.

test2_win is connected to newly created network3

Screenshot 2022-06-02 at 16-41-43 ne-r051-235cl - VMware ESXi.png

this is network3

And yes ... indeed, if add a port group to network3, i cannot see network3. What are VMkernels for? I mean i believed that in order to have connection to network and internet, a VMkernel has to be created.

Now i have a connection to network but don't have internet.

Thank you for your answer.

VMkernel ports are for host management and other functions: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.vsphere.networking.doc/GUID-D4191320-209E-4...
