Not able to access ESXi using web console on PC connected to LAN

Hi,

I have installed new esxi 6.5 and after installing cannot connect to the host from network. Hostname is resolved but rest ip addresses failed to resolve.

The host is able to acquire IP from network but cannot connect from network pc.

Also is there any way to directly connect laptop the host to access web url?

Please note that I have removed the ip address from the images for security reasons.

Is YOUR PC in the same connected LAN as the ESXi?

I would avoid using DHCP for "server stuff".

By default:

- ESXi always responce to a PING

- ESXi dont answer when using SSH because you have to anable the ESXi SSH on the Troubleshooting Option first

- Normaly the Webclient is reachable when pointing your Browser to https://<esxiIP>

I would enable ESX Shell as well and try to ping a <known pingable device> from the esxi which is in same subnet.
