Not able to Delete Files in DATASTORE

hi Friends,

I have one Datastore ,which is carved out Lun from SATA disk 750 GB. I have one VMDK residing on that Datastore of 500 GB which needs to be deleted.

Whenever i try to Delete it say resource busy . the respective files associated with VM (i:e:- VMX,swap etc)of  that VMDK is removed only its VMDK is left out.. ,I tried command line (rm -fr xyz ) but invain.can anyone tell me how to remove it.
