No visible local datastore from new ESXi7.0b install

I've just installed ESXi on a device with an 120GB NVMe disk but cannot see the datastore.

Storage on the dashboard is reading as: "Used 0B, Free 0B, Capacity 0B) NaN%

The adapter is visible in Storage -> Devices and the VMFSL partition is visible in the partition section.

I followed this thread: VMWare ESXI 6.5 - How to create local datastore (where ESXI 6.5 is installed) ? Error "No partition....  but using the command esxcfg-volume -l results in no output.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to proceed?

That's by design. ESXi 7.0 uses up to ~130GB on the installation disk for the system. A datastore is only created on larger disks/LUNs.
