I built my home lab for ESXI 5.5 ,unfortunately my nic is not listed in HCL list,it has 32 GB ram support and i7 3700 processor.
so it cannot replace with second one.I find some .vib driver for artheros AR8161 to customize the iso but not working.please
advice for adding Artheros AR8161 nic driver. This motherboard has very good performance when i was using ESXI on Vmware
workstation.
Rather than trying to find a driver, I'd rather suggest you look for a supported NIC or an inexpensive one which is known as working (e.g. an Intel Pro/1000 GT). Even if you can find a driver, the system could break with each update/patch you apply.

Intel Pro/1000 GT pci network adapter is not available in local market, most of them are realtalk chips, may be we can find in ebay store, suggestion of any other network adapter.
I'm currently not aware of an up-to-date whitebox list, so you may want to check the official VMware Compatibility Guide: I/O Device Search for supported network adapters.

As ap said, intel Pro/1000GT is more reliable and supported.
Apart from saying that, are you facing issues in adding the vib to the custom iso or still no network detected after adding the custom vib. Adding to it, I did find that AR8161 is having a lot of compatibility issues with other virtualization products also.
Re Andre Intel Pro 1000 MT Quad-Port Network Adapter Card C32199-001 is supporting for new esxi 5.5
There are two adapters with this name listed in the HCL (see the link I provided earlier), but only one of them is supported for v5.5. I think - not sure though - the adapter you mention (C32199-001) is not the one you need, because it seems it's a "PCI-X" adapter!? Make sure you get the correct one.

Thanks andre for your advice it is a PCI-X network card, very helpfull answer, I had attached my motherboard picture which has (PCIEX16) and (PCIEX4) slot, don,t
know it was supporting this network card.
This won't work. There's a big difference in PCI-X and PCIe (which is what your board supports). The X4 and X16 you mentioned only defines the maximum speed of the different PCIe slots. PCI-X is another architecture which was mainly used in server hardware some years ago.

Very glad to inform that the intel Pro 1000 /GT brought from ebay work like charm in Esxi 5.5 ,Thanks for the advice,
