Has anyone come across an issue where only the config log is available if logging into the DCUI of a host? (So Syslog, Vmkernel, Management Agent, VirtualCenter Agent and VMware ESXi Observation log appear to be missing). If I connect directly to a host with the vCenter client and go to Administration - System Logs on the affected hosts then there is nothing available in the drop down menu (usually hostd.log, vmkernel.log and vpxa.log would usually be available). This seems to be affecting half of our hosts, whereas the other half are fine and display the logs as expected. For both the affected and non-affected hosts, the Syslog.global.logDir parameter is set to [DATASTORENAME] /ESXiSysLogs/scratch/log. The affected and non-affected hosts are also running the same build version (2403361).
Has anyone come across this before or offer any suggestions as to what could be causing this?
Thanks in advance.
