No connectivity between VM's in the same isolated network(Standard Switch) on ESXi 6.0

Hi,

i use vsphere client 6.0 to manage ESXi 6.0 and i have created a Standard Switch: vSwitch1 (no adapters)

I think i have followed the correct steps but there is no connectivity between the 3 VM's in this isolated network while all 3 VM's do have connectivity over the physical uplink to the internet.

In all three VM's the Standard Switch "DCN" is chosen on the second network adapter per VM.

The routing tables on the individual VM's also show correct default gateways internally for this 172.16.0.0/24 network i used for IP addresses allocated on the three connected interfaces of the these 3 VM's.

Been troubleshooting now for a full day. Any suggestions?

Hi,

I think that you must remove VLAN ID from port group.
