“ No Network adaptors” when installing ESXi 5.1

Hi i am new to VMware world. I have trying to install ESXi 5.1 on Dell Optiplex 7010 with 16 RAM for test and learning purpose. When i am trying install ESXi 5.1 it come with an error  that “ No Network adaptors” 

And than the only possibility is “Reboot”

I have have no idea what to do from here.I’ll appreciate you help.

Welcome to the Community,

if the integrated network adapter isn't supported (seeVMware Compatibility Guide: I/O Device Search), your options are either to get a supported network adapter or - since you mentioned learning purposes - to consider installing a virtual environment based on VMware Workstation, which even allows you to setup multiple virtual ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, ... Take a look at e.g. Building the Ultimate vSphere Lab for a sample setup.

This is because the VMware native ESXi 5.1 image does not contain the required version of network drivers for your NICs. You need to make use of the Dell Customized ESXi 5.1 Image which will contain the required drivers. Download the customized ESXi image from dell website

Thanx. I have replaced the network adapter with a supported network adapter.
