Newly Deployed vCenter (vSphere Client version 8.0.0.10000) has no access to ESXI Inventory

Newly Deployed vCenter (vSphere Client version 8.0.0.10000) has no access to ESXI Inventory and CPU/MEM/Storage (all visible directly from ESXI)

The issue is resolved by simply adding the new cluster and the host

Have you upgraded your vCenter appliance from version 7 to 8? 

It looks like you have installed a new vCenter and even not created a Datacenter, Cluster not added ESXi hosts.

Hi Maksym007,

Thanks for coming back to me, this is a new test development platform, so it wasn't an upgrade, also it is only a single esxi host, not sure if the cluster is required in this scenario.

When trying to create a new Cluster, we are getting the following error: No ESXi versions found in the vLCM depot. Sync contents to the depot to compose an image, or import the image from a host.

the idea didn't work (reinstalling esxi using Lifecycle controller) - still need your help guys.
