Sorry if Im asking unusually stupid, beeing new here and all.
Got a lab (so far) test setup with MultiPath working with 2 servers and a iSCSI infortrend storage.
Right now, I've been using 2 NIC's for iSCSI through the CLI with jumboframes, flowcontrol,etc
and all is (finally) working well. The simple question for the day is; is it possible to change/expand the setup
to create additional bandwidht for the storage net with the existing "design" intact ?
Server 1 today - 2 Nic's (for storage/iSCSI)
A- 10.10.10.21
B- 101.10.20.21
Server 2 today - 2 Nic's (for storage/iSCSI)
A- 10.10.10.22
B- 101.10.20.22
Infortrend box; 4 nic's
10.10.10.51
10.10.20.51
10.10.10.52
10.10.20.52
Having one nic unused still in each server, is it possible to simply add that for iSCSI by simply using an additional
ip-address in the existing range ?, or do I have to change the setup so that 3 subnet's are used to activate it ?
