Hi,
Can any one please let me know, do we need to certify our new Hardware with both ESX and ESXi or only with ESXi?
Please respond.
Thanx in advance.
Rahul
If you're a hardware vender you can certify both or either one. ESX 4.1 is the last release of ESX so going forward there will just be ESXi to certify. You might want to check out the server program here https://www.vmdev.net/.

Are you clicking on a link on this page - http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/microsite.do or doing a search and then selecting a link. If you're doing a search, what are the search terms and what link do you click?

Hi Dave,
I went to the link (http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/microsite.do)and clicked in communities searched with the term IOMMU.</address>
I selected The search result with Subject
test fails to run ESXi 4.0 server (274-274794xml).
After clicking the link I goit the error msg.
Thanks,
Rahul
The error indicates that the thread is in a forum to which you don't have access. But in that case it shouldn't show up in the search list. I'll follow up on why it is appearing in your search results.
