New ESX4 Install and Block Size

I am quoting a new server for and ESX4 installation. I would like this new server to have one large RAID5 array. The problem is that when I install ESX on the machine, it will default to a 1MB block size. As we know, that will limit any VM running on it to a maximum of 256GB drive.

My question is; should I quote this new server with two smaller drives for a RAID1 to install ESX and then the reset of the drives for the datastore? Or is there a way around this issue.

Thanks!

Thanks for the link. While I don't care for my options, that will get me going.
