New Drive Added to ESXi – format?

Adding another drive to ESXi 4.1 Server (Dell R710).  This is a standalone box currently not used with vCenter.

What is the process to format the new drive at 2MB block for a new datastore?

To create a datastore go to Configuration > Storage and click Add Storage. One of the screens that is available on the  Add Storage wizard is formatting.  On that screen you'll be able to select the block size.
