Network changed and lost DHCP?

At some point a few days ago I got emails from 2 of my VM Users that they couldn't get on. This morning I find that of my 3 Windows 10 VM's, 1 was online, 2 were not and had bogus 169.x.x.x addresses. All of these have IP Reservations in my Windows 2008R2 DHCP. Restarting, Power On/Off didn't fix it. IPCONFIG /release or /renew had no effect. I noticed the Mac address changed on one but not the other. I deleted the reservation for the one with the different Mac Address and it got an IP, then I was able to recreate the reservation and it was fine. The other wouldn't work that way. Eventually I deleted the network adapter from the VM and then added it back so it got a new Mac address and finally was able to get online with it. Has anyone had this happen before?
