Need help using direct path I/O

I have installed a video card into a 5.0 host. I have setup direct path. I can see the video card in the VM and I was able to install the drivers and I disabled the VMware video card. I can see the VM just fine using the console. However I can not see the video output to the monitor. Any help will be most welcome. The card is an ASUS video card..

However I can not see the video output to the monitor.

Since you have passthrough'd the graphics card, the video direction will not be under the control of VMKernel but that of the Virtual machines. Hence the display will be stopped after "Initializing cnic... or x driver ".. It is expected.

but how do I get the video of the VM to go to a monitor. I can see the video on my wifes computer if I open the console using the vmware client. I want the VM's video to go out the video card that I installed in the host.
