What is the difference between LUN masking & zoning?

How DVS works?

Difference between NFS vs FC vs SSD?

Introduction to vSAN?

vMotion vs SVMOtion vs XVMOtion?

How to you figure out IOPS distribution across VMs in a host?

If you don't have the relevant technical experience yet, then be open about this and make sure that your enthusiasm and positive attitude shines through in the interview. If you try and blag your way through the questions you will get caught out and ruin any chance that you had in the first place.

All the best with the interview, and achieving your career objectives.

Cheers,

Jon

PS: What is the fault domain manager (FDM) and is HA is vSphere 5.0 dependent on DNS?

jrmunday,

So true!  I will always hire someone who is new and hungry to learn over someone with skills but no passion/drive.

mubarak884,

Anyway, if you try and fake an answer to a vSphere admin they are going to eat you for lunch.  It's always best to admit what you know and don't know.  If you are new, your objective should be to get in the door and surround yourself with people you can learn from.  Make yourself useful and take on the trivial tasks that nobody wants.  Always continue learning and asking questions.  Try to participate on all upgrades/webexes even if you are just watching/learning.  Stay hungry and keep training.
