NVIDIA K2 Grid causing Intense/Non Stop HPE Proliant DL380 GEN9 Fans to go crazy

Hello

So I have the HP Proliant DL380 Gen 9 and running esxi 7.0 (hp image) and have several VM's running no issues.

I installed the GRID 2 and activate pass-through and assign it to a linux (slackware 15). i go through the install all is fine but when I reboot after the initial install, the fans go crazy like hell non stop unless I power off the VM.

I took GRID 2 out, and the slackware boots fine.

I am at a loss!

Though I did not completely resolve the situation (I can not get the drivers on Linux to install even though it sees it) I got the crazy fans to stop.

Linux, or at least Slackware, by default was loading nouveau module. I had to remove it and Linux booted fine.
