Just wondering...

why the date command in ssh is 1 hour behind where the time configuration in vsphere displays the right time (1 hour forward)

~ # date

Fri Aug  2 10:03:35 UTC 2013

Please ignore the 2 min difference between the two... 😉

The date command is displaying the time in UTC, the client will be displaying GMT presumably.  Note the notice in the client: The date and time values of the host have been translated into the local time of this vSphere Client
