We have hosts with Qlogic FastLinQ QL41xxx 10/25 Gbps cards which often have connectivity issues - links going down permanently or flapping.
This happened with 6.5, 6.7. 7.0 - we keep FW up to date.
We have very similar hosts using Mellanox NICs connected to same switches which are not experiencing similar issues.
So far support cases suggested fixes on physical layer (replacing SFPs, cards) but I suspect some stability improvements may be achieved on software or FW layer.
I wonder if anyone has some advice regarding some advanced settings or FW level settings to improve stability?
