In another thread, I understood that in order to remove the "connection" between an ESXi host and an NFS server, I have to use "unmount".
Above the datastores list, there is a link called "Delete" (which is between "Refresh" and "Add Storage..."). What is the use of this link with NFS? Or it doesn't make sense at all?
TIA
According to what I see after some test, "Delete" with NFS storage does NOT delete the datastore nor its content. "delete" is equivalent to "unmount" for NFS.
So, IMO, the link is a misnomer: it should be "unmount" instead of "delete" when an NFS storage is selected. In other words, a display bug.
It will delete the datastore and all content inside the datastore, including VMs.
