NEED free ESXi 4.1 license but can't retrieve!

I *need* a license for ESXi 4.1. It says I just have a few days left in my trial whenever I log into it via vSphere 4.1.

Whenever I click on any of the as-of-today old ESXi 4.1 pages to download and retrieve the license, it just gives me a 5.0 license which will not work in 4.1.

The ESXi is installed on a remote host by my ISP. I cannot upgrade to 5 even if I wanted, so I feel stuck.  My only alternative is to request that they totally wipe ESXi and replace with Linux, but that'd mean losing all my existing efforts at setting up servers there.

Help, please.

Hello and welcome to the Forums.

There was an earlier discussion about this.  It appears your only option for ESXi Hypervisor is 5.0

Where to get ESXi 4.1 (post 5.0 release)

When you signed up for the ESXi 4.x download you should have received an email with the license number for ESXi 4.x. See if you can find that. Otherwise you are stuck and would need to use vSphere 5. ESXi 4.x can be upgraded to vSphere 5 without disturbing your current setup.
