Multiple display adapters in ESX 4?

I've found some clues as to multiple display adapter support in VMware but haven't found what I'm looking for exactly.

My goal is to have multiple display adapters on my XP VMs running on ESX 4.0. Running remote desktop with the /span option give me access to both monitors but not 2 display adapters.

The way that VMware Workstation 7 supports multiple monitors is what I'm looking for (see attachment).

I've also have used Splitview to achieve the multiple displays in ESX 3.5 but that is another cost.

Has anyone been able to produce two displays using ESX 4.0?

it's not supported on ESX(i). The suggestion you made is the on I would make, which would be splitview. You can do this in VMware View, but that's at a cost as well.
