Multiple VMs shut down from Vcenter server. IS it a rolling shutdown?

Hello Experts

    I am trying to shut multiple(about 70 virtual machines)  VMs from my vcenter server. I would like to know if the Vcenter server performs a rolling shutdown . Or is it performing shutdown on all VMs at the same time.

Any inputs in this regard will be very helpful.

If you do it from the GUI and select multiple VM's it will shutdown all these VM's at the same time.

It can be achieved via a simple PowerCLI script. Let me know if you want to create one.
