Multiple VCenters in one VSphere Client

A little new to the this but just curious, can you have multiple VCenters in one VSphere client? Right now I have 6 VCenters that I connect to, so I have 6 vsphere clients running.

Welcome To the Community.

You can configure them in to the linked mode. As per you current scenario you have already configured the vcente. So you must add them in to a single pane of vcenter view.

here is a nice blog which help you out to fix your issue.

hope you find it interesting.

You can if they are in linked mode.  If you setup your 6 vCenter servers in linked mode you can have a single pane of glass to managed all 6 vcenters.

VMware vSphere 4 - ESX and vCenter Server

VMware vCenter Linked Mode Installation - YouTube

Keep in mind even if you setup your 6 vCenters in linked mode, this only allows you to manage all 6 vCenters from one vClient, it doesn't replicate permission changes or any other settings.

Would this cause any downtime? Can it be done during the day? Since it is my vCenter (if a reboot is required) would it cause any VMs to go offline?

Thanks for helping this n00b out!

Yep, its easily done Smiley Happy

Just note that if you are using the vCenter Appliance (as opposed to vCenter installed on Windows OS) then linked mode is not supported.
