Multiple IP address on Vsphere host -

Hi,

Is it possible to have multiple IP addresses assigned to vspher4 ? I need to separte the backup traffic from hitting the production network.

I have 4 NICs on this esx host.

console IP address is 192.168.100.1

veeam backup server is on 172.16.100.100

Ideally, I would like to assign an IP address of 172.16.100.101 to Vspher esx host so that the backup traffic is isolated.

You can create a second Service Console.

As written before, create another Service Console on the right vSwitch.

If you need to increase security, tag each COS with a different VLAN (and configure properly the physical switches to support VLAN).
