Multiple ESXi server centralized backup

I'm the administrator of many SMB networks.

I'd like to P2V all server on this different networks that I administer.

For this purpose I'd like to use the free ESXi 4.0 product.

The question is :

is there any solution to perform scheduled daily backups of the VMs on each of this ESXi host from a centralized location in my office?

In other words, can I manage all backup tasks on the different ESXi server of my clients if each server has its Public IP address and I can connect to it via ADSL?

Obviously each ESXi server will have a local attached NAS server to store VM's backup.

Thanks in advance.

Free ESXi is not supported by any known to me commercial tool.

But in case of ESXi with Essentials license or above you can use Veeam Backup, it has central management console.

I think DoubleTake Backup solution will be useful for you:

You can take a look at this 100% free scripted solution:

What you would probably do is setup a NFS datastore for each of your ESXi host, store the backup script ont he NFS datastore. Have a single 'host' that would issue the backup on each of the ESXi host depending on the backup schedule.

You won't find any other commercial product support the free version of ESXi, you need to be licensed with at least an "Essentials" license for their support.
