Move host to a new cluster

Does anyone know if there is any impact or something special I need to do when moving two host from a cluster into a new cluster.  Due to our Oracle licensing we have to remove 2 host from the cluster and put them in a separate cluster.  The host strictly has Development and Production Servers/Oracle DBs.

You can disconnect and remove the servers from one cluster and add them to another cluster.

Hope you don't have any resource pools.

I do have resource pools in place but they are acting more as organizational containers than limiting resources.  Each pool is set to unlimited.  Will this still cause a problem?

So you are saying I can just disconnect the host and move it to the new cluster?  Would I have to power down any of the current VMs within that host or can I leave them active?

It will not affect any machines but the hierarchy would change. Since you have plans of moving the hosts i think its not a problem.y
