Move VM Image from ESX 4.1 to Workstation 7.1

Can anyone please guide me through the process of Moving a VM image from ESX 4.1 Server to Workstation 7.1. I know that using converter you can move the VM in Workstation to ESX but I would like to know if we can do the other way round.

Yes it is possible to do a V2V conversion from ESX to workstation

Welcome to the Communities,

you can use the same tool (the Converter). Just select source and destination as needed.

You can use vmkfstools to convert to W7 I believe.
