Mouse issues even with vmtools installed

I just did my first install of ESXi 6. Everything seemed to go fine. I can create VMs just fine. So far I have created a CentOS 7 desktop and an Ubuntu 14 Desktop. I am running the VMWARE vSphere client on Windows 10. Even with the vmware tools installed on the guest OSs I am getting erratic mouse behavior. It is if when I move the mouse the focus goes out of the console (like I pressed Ctrl + Alt) and then refocuses on the console. This also makes the mouse move erratically on the guest os in the console.

Are there any known issues with such a configuration? Any suggestions on how I might fix this?

Hi, @tinjaw.

Did you try this solution? Re: vSphere client on a Windows 10 machine - mouse problems inside VM consoles

It worked fine for me...
