Mounting datastore on two nodes

Hello, I created a datastore on Host1 that is being presented from HP EVA SAN to two hosts. I can see the lun in host2 but when I try to mount it I get:

"Mount VMFS volume The operation is not allowed in the current state."

Any ideas why? I coun't find anything related on vmware logs.

If the LUN is presented to the host2, the Datastore should be visible once you run the rescan operation. Manual mount is not required.

Hi,

as said, when you create the Datastore on one host, all the other hosts that have access (SAN mapping) to the LUN will mount it too.

I rebootted the host and the disk seems to be mounted and I can access it.

The hosts are not in same zone in SAN, but that shouldn't matter.
