Monitoring Memory in ESXi Embedded Host Client

Team,

Can someone please help me understand why, when I go to a VM's Monitor | Performance tab, the client displays the "RAM" setting for the VM and not the actual amount of memory the VM is using?  For example, the "RAM" setting for a Windows VM is set to 8192MB.  When I logon to the VM, task manager reports it is using just 1260MB. The graph on the Monitor | Performance tab displays only the 8192MB.  I would expect it to display the actual allocation of 1260MB which is much more useful.  Am I missing a setting somewhere or something?

Thanks!
Brad

You may be using an earlier version of the ESXi embedded host client which didn't display that metric. Update your client with the latest available on the Flings page and try again.

Hi daphnissov,

Thanks for your suggestion, but I'm already using the latest 1.24.0 version of the client.
