I followed the KB for hot-adding memory to a running Oracle Linux 6.4 VM (VMware KB: Hot adding memory in Linux ), everything is ok up to the point of enabling thememory - the /sys/devices/system/memory directory is missing, so I cannot mark the new memory as online - is there a way to enable hot-added memory without reboot for OL 6.4 (running UEK, if that makes any difference)?
