Missing options in Advanced Settings - vSphere 5.1

Hi,

I have some issues on my IBM blades that lose periodically the connectivity to the LUNs. IBM, after all the firmware upgrade of the case, requested me also to change and tune some configuration.

They ask to change the values of:

esxcfg-advcfg -g /Disk/SchedNumReqOutstanding

esxcfg-advcfg -g /Disk/QFullThreshold

esxcfg-advcfg -g /Disk/QFullSampleSize

esxcfg-advcfg -g /Disk/DelayOnBusy

unfortunately I cannot find Disk/QFullThreshold and  /Disk/QFullSampleSize.

Can you help to understand why?

They also request to disable the CIM of this option: /UserVars/CIMvmw_lsiproviderProviderEnable to set to 0, but again I cannot find both by ssh and from GUI in Advanced Settings.

Do you ever face this problem?

Thank you

Rudy

STrange. These ESX advances settings normally exists. I have just double checked my esx 5.1 hosts. If these parameters doesn't exist Something is wrong with your esx hosts.
