Missing X drivers for Ubuntu 13.10?

I'm setting up a Ubuntu 13.10 guest on an ESX 4.1.0 host.  While installing the VMGuest tools, I get this message"

"Distribution provided drivers for Xorg X server are used."

"Skipping X configuration because X drivers are not included."

This may or may not be causing me some issues when trying to access the system through the console.  Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks.

I was pretty much worried about the message when I was using Ubuntu 12.10. It turned out that it did cause issues when I changed the screen resolution after the tools install reboot and after that I am unable to open the x session at all. I then had to use xrand to set the resolution to lowest and increase from there. But as far as using the console with the set resolution would work fine.
