Migrating from vCenter 6 to 6.5 fails

Hi all,

I'm migrating my lab env windows vCenter from v6 to VCSA v6.5 and every time it failed during migration. following is the error message I get.

Resolution

This is an unrecoverable error, please retry install. If you run into this error again, please collect a support bundle and open a support request

Can anyone suggest a fix for this issue I'm facing?

I had this issue in the BETA release, the solution  for me was to ensure DNS was correctly set and the DNS server(s) were online.

This error mainly occurs when you do not follow the best practice for vcenter server migration. Can you please share the  steps which you are applying for migration so that I can help you.
