Migrating from free esx 5.5 to licensed 4.1

Hi

I've got another question for today. We had vm on licensed ESX 4.1 cluster and then we migrated it to free standalone ESX 5.5 host , it was done using vmconverter but i dont exactly know how , now I have to migrate this one vm back to this licensed 4.1 ESX . The vm hardware version is 7 so esx 4.1 still can run that vm , am I right ?

I got copy of all  vmfiles, is that enought or do i have to use converter again   ..?

I know that its not common operation and it may sound weird  but maybe somebody can help me somehow get through this. I would appreciate any help

W.

With all the VM's files available, it should work to upload the files to a folder on the datastore and register it to the host's inventory by right clicking the VM's .vmx file in the datastore browser.

I added vmx to inventory and for now everything seems OK , so basically it wasn't hard operation Smiley Wink
