Hi,
We have 2 ESXi hosts (standalone) being managed by vCenter. Each host has about 6 guest. We need to migrate VM's from one datacenter to new datacenter. What would be the best way to migrate?

Look at using sphere replication, you can download if from vmware.com. It's what we used to move vms between environments. You install replication appliance in both datacenters, and then configure them to connect to the other datacenter. You can enable a virtual machine to replicate to the other datacenter, this happens while it's running. When you're ready to move it, you shut down the current virtual machine. Then in the other vcenter you recover it, it allows you to sync the most current settings, then turn it on.

You can use Enhanced vMotion to migrate them without shared storage provided you have this function licensed, the hosts are ESXi 5.1 or higher and the VMs are suitable:
