Microsoft NLB Setting vSwitch

hello community,

i have a question. I installed a ISA Server 2006 array with NLB (Multicast).

When i ping the VIP from the same Vlan it works great, but it is not possible to ping the VIP from a diffrent vlan.

Do you have some suggestions for me.

Can somebody tell me the right configuration ?

there must be changes made on the vSwitch??!?! i tryed " notify switches" = NO.

Still no changes.

Thanks..

Usually the problem on the third layer switch (or router).

You need to register multicast address (from NLB cluster settings) for in the required vlan.

It depends on what kind of equipment do you use for routing between vlans (default router?). On juniper

arp x.x.x.x multicast-mac y:y:y:y:y:y;
