Maximum sessions allowed

Hello,

According to the vSphere 5.0 Configuration Maximums, the maximum number of concurrent vSphere clients is 100 (to a vCenter server).

Is that the number of concurrent active sessions or total sessions (both active and idle)?

Does it include connections made thru the SDK (using vCenter API)?

Thank you,

Yaniv

Hi,

As aravinds3107 mentioned, concurrent session includes both active & idle.

But I hope, the maximum concurrent connections 100 is soft limit. In VC 2.5 Maximum concurrent connection is 20, But I have seen active session itself went more than 20 many times.
