How many maximum uplinks we can connect with one vSwtich in vSS and in vDS also?

Yes, you can make a configuration with only one vSwitch per host and connect all the nic's to that vSwitch.

the limit you said i think it is not the uplinks limit, it is the maximum number of active virtual ports

i don't think so the active means in this whitepaper is related to the uplinks

I think there should be one or max two uplink port we can connect.

Active port are generally use for communication purpose even uplink are being use for same but it link to another switch

What other ports cannot do.

I think John23 his last answer is the correct one.

You can connect the uplink ports of a virtual switch only to physical nic's. And you can connect one virtual switch to all the physical nic's in a host. So the answer depends on the physical nic type as show in the configuration maximums document. The absolute maximum number of uplinks at this moment is 32.
