Dear community,
after upgrading to ESXi6, my ExpressCard Nic, it's a Marvell Technologies, Inc. 88E8053 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (11ab:4362) was not recognized anymore by Esxi6. Thank god, i found this site where a community based version of the net51 drivers for "esxi 6" could be found. The installation was easy and after a reboot the NIC was available. The problem is, that after a random time (minutes to days) the data flow through the card interrupts. Ping does not reach the target anymore. In the VSphere Client the NIC seems to be up and connected. When I change the speed of the card from the vSpheer client (for example from 100MBit, half duiplex to 100MBit full duplex), the connection works for some minutes, until it dies again...
Does anybody hav a idea, how I can find out what the problem is? Is there any way to "debug" that?
