Hi!
I just started upgrading to Vsphere5.
The first box is upgraded but the Management network dont work after reboot.
If i restart management network after reboot it works fine until next reboot.
The storage network work right away no problem to ping that, and that uses the same type of nic.
We have 2 quad nic cards in the box.
Havent found anything about this.
Anyone with similar problems?
We use Dvswitch for management network and vswitch for storage network.
The server is upgraded from Esxi 4.1 with update manager.
Its a DELL 710R server
Any good ideas?
Michael
I've got the same problem. Did you find out any solution, yet?
Thanks.
Hi!
Yes, there is a bug in vSphere5.
If you have dvuplinks in the Management dv port group that are set as unused you get this problem.

Michael
Confirm that. Upgrade to ESXi 5.0.1 solved this issue.
It has something to do with VLANs on distributed switch.
