Machine creation question

Can anyone advise if ESXi can build new machines when a threshold is meet of available machines. So if I have 20 machines and 15 are all in use, can ESXi build another 5 machines taking it to 25 so there are always machines available and waiting for use and when 20 are in use it builds another 5 etc?

ESXi is just the platform to create/provision machines. ESXi itself does not have the ability to do such a thing.

You will have to bring in an external orchestration and automation engine which will keep track of the number of machines and then triggers machine creation if the number of present machines reaches a threshold.
