MSCS setup

Hey all,

Helping a dev guy setup a 2 node MS cluster. God help us. Questions is:

I know I need to create an RDM for the guests. If I add the drive to one of the guests first, will I be able to add it to the other? Or will it not be visable because it is bound to the one vm?

Using fiber

Yeah this is a good read and has step by step how to add the disks,

basically yes you just connect the same disk you create on one on the other, by selecting "use exsiting virtual disk and point it to the same one. and make sure its physical compatibility mode.

Cheers

With out seeing the error I would say make sure when you added the RDM you set the SCSI controller Bus Sharing on both to "Physical"

Yes, with physical mode.
