Hi all,
I currently run a 6.7 server, and was looking at upgrading this weekend to 7.0. After getting everything setup, when I go to enable passthrough on the HBA, I get an error of Operation failed, diagnostics report: GetDeviceID failed.
The page will show that the system needs a reboot, rebooting shows the device as disabled again
I found a site https://vdan.cz/vmware/devices-deprecated-and-unsupported-in-esxi-7-0-77304/, so am I reading this right that 7 does not support the 220?
Deprecated Devices 7.0 native and not removed in driver
Devices that were supported by a Native inbox driver in 6.7 or earlier but that support has been completely removed in the 7.0 inbox driver.
