Lost partition tables

I have lost all my partition tables on my VMFS and RDM LUNs. I have managed to recover my VMFS volumes following standard VMware practices, however I do not know how to recover my RDMs.

Please could someone let me know if there is a process to recover\recreate the partition tables on RDMs?

I am using ESX 4.0 and I am connected to a HP XP 24000 using FC.

If it's NTFS, please do check this out: http://www.ptdd.com/rpt.htm it can manual repair NTFS partition table almost identical to VMFS way.

Not sure how this is going to help as I cannot even attach the RDMs to a virtual machine.

I can see the LUNs, however when I try to add then to a virtual machine they are not visible?

Did you create new RDMs for those LUNs ?

Do you know testdisk ?

thats a tool that scans for lost partition tables - it can run on Linux or Windows LiveCDs
